Nessebar's two sites both offer shore entry in the Black Sea and are rated for beginners. Nessebar Old Town Beach features a mix of natural and artificial reef at depths between eight and fifteen metres, with visibility typically between five and ten metres. The Aheloy site is a sandy, shallow entry associated with a reported wooden shipwreck buried in the sand. Water temperatures warm considerably through summer and are at their coldest in late winter. The area is served by several local operators based in Nesebar.
