Tsarevo lies near the southern end of Bulgaria's Black Sea coast and offers a small set of sites covering wrecks, caves, and an artificial reef lighthouse structure. All listed sites are rated for beginners, with depths reaching a maximum of twenty metres at the Varvara cave site. The Sanni shipwreck, which broke apart in two thousand and two, sits in very shallow water and is accessible from shore. Arapya is a similarly shallow and calm reef entry. Water temperatures are among the warmest recorded for Bulgarian Black Sea sites in late summer. Species found here include seahorses, scorpionfish, gorgonians, grey triggerfish, and stargazers.
