Lake Naroch sits within the Narochansky National Park in north-western Belarus and is the largest lake in the country. The region groups six freshwater lake sites, all shore-entry and suited to beginners. Depths across the sites vary considerably, from shallow reef structures of around ten to twelve metres at sites such as Naroch, Volchino, and Rudakovo Lake, to the notably deeper Bolduk Lake which reaches well beyond forty metres and demands careful dive planning despite its beginner rating. Visibility is variable and can be low, particularly in summer when algae growth reduces clarity; cooler months tend to bring cleaner water. Species recorded here include sturgeon, European eel, pike, pike perch, trout, catfish, burbot, perch, roach, and freshwater sponge.
