Kingscote Jetty sits on the north coast of Kangaroo Island in South Australia, where the sheltered aspect keeps conditions relatively calm for much of the year. The site is shallow, ranging from two to six metres, and covers a mix of artificial reef created by the jetty structure, natural reef, and seagrass. Visibility is typically between five and ten metres. Divers can expect to find smooth rays, Port Jackson sharks, fiddler rays, southern dumpling squid, and a range of flatfish and blennies. Shore entry is possible, and the site is well suited to beginners.
