Elcho Island lies off Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory, set in warm, tropical water that stays high year-round. The four sites in our database are all shallow reef dives accessible from shore or by boat, with depths sitting between five and seven metres. Species recorded include tasselled wobbegong, knifetooth sawfish, painted frogfish, green sea turtles, whitetip reef sharks, pharaoh cuttlefish, and gorgonians.
