Boat Harbour sits on the southern Sydney coastline, opening onto the South Pacific Ocean near Cronulla and Kurnell. Its eight sites cover a broad range of topography, including reef, wall, canyon, cave, and wreck, and cater predominantly to intermediate and advanced divers. The wreck of the Hilda lies a short distance offshore, while Voo Doo and Voodoo Wide offer complex cave and canyon systems at depth. Shore entries are possible at several sites, though surf and swell regularly dictate conditions and some sites become inaccessible when swell is elevated. Water temperatures fall to their lowest in late winter and early spring, climbing back through summer. Grey nurse shark, giant cuttlefish, spotted wobbegong, pot-bellied seahorse, and nudibranch are among the species recorded here.
