Ulladulla sits on the Tasman Sea along the South Coast of New South Wales, offering temperate reef diving across four sites that range from shallow shore entries to advanced boat dives. The Gantry near Bawley Point suits those new to the area, while East Bommie drops to twenty-six metres and requires strong buoyancy control in variable currents. Light House Reef combines wall, reef, and drift terrain around five hundred metres from shore. Spotted wobbegongs, pot-bellied seahorses, giant cuttlefish, Port Jackson sharks, and fiddler rays are characteristic of these reefs. Temperatures fall to around seventeen degrees in August and September, so a wetsuit appropriate for cooler water is necessary outside the warmer months.
