Terrigal is on the Central Coast of New South Wales, and its one site in our database is the SS Galava, a deep wreck lying well offshore in the Pacific Ocean at around fifty-one metres. The dive is rated advanced due to the depth, decompression requirements, and currents that can strengthen without warning. Access is by boat only, and guided tours are recommended. Visibility is highly variable. Water temperatures at depth remain fairly consistent and cool through much of the year. Species recorded at the wreck include grey nurse shark, spotted wobbegong, green sea turtle, giant cuttlefish, green moray, and nudibranch.
