Khor Fakkan's diving centres on boat-accessed reef sites and one deliberately sunk wreck, the Inchcape 2, which now serves as an artificial reef in its own right. Shallow pinnacles such as Martini Rock and Anemone Gardens suit beginners, while Coral Gardens and the deeper sections of the wreck draw more experienced divers. Across the sites, Guitarfish, Scorpionfish, Indian Lionfish, Pharaoh Cuttlefish, and the vivid Spanish Dancer nudibranch are consistently observed.

Khor Fakkan has a well-documented roster of species observed across its sites. Guitarfish, Indian Lionfish, Spotfin Lionfish, Scorpionfish, and Pharaoh Cuttlefish are all very commonly sighted. The Spanish Dancer nudibranch is a particular highlight, along with Laced Moray, Undulated Moray, Brownsaddle Clownfish, Yellowtail Clownfish, and Redtooth Triggerfish. Crown of Thorns Sea Star and Birdbeak Burrfish round out a truly varied benthic community.
Several sites in Khor Fakkan are well suited to those early in their diving experience. Martini Rock, Anemone Gardens, Bluewater, Ras Qidfa, and Martini Wall are all rated for beginner skill levels, with shallower maximum depths and manageable conditions. Coral Gardens is rated advanced, and Inchcape 2 is intermediate, so there is also progression available for more experienced divers.
All dive sites in Khor Fakkan are accessed by boat. There are no shore-entry sites listed in the area. Goblin Diving Center is the local operator running trips to the reefs and the Inchcape 2 wreck. Most sites are a short boat ride from the harbour.
The Inchcape 2 is the only wreck site in Khor Fakkan and was intentionally sunk as an artificial reef. It sits upright on a sandy seabed and is rated for intermediate divers. The wreck has had time to develop its own reef community, making it a different experience from the natural pinnacle and reef sites that make up the rest of the area's diving.
