South Caicos offers boat-access reef and wall diving in the Atlantic Ocean, with the single site currently in our database being Gorgonian Drop Off, a drop-off suited to intermediate divers. The site sits about a kilometre offshore and features mild currents with visibility between twenty and thirty metres. Compared to the more developed islands, South Caicos sees fewer visiting boats, giving dives a quieter character. Nurse sharks, sea turtles, Atlantic goliath grouper, and gorgonians are among the species recorded here.
