Chumphon Pinnacle lies in the Gulf of Thailand roughly eleven kilometres from Koh Tao and is rated exclusively for advanced divers. The site is a large granite formation with a main pinnacle and surrounding rock structures, offering reef, wall, and wreck topography across a wide depth range. Currents can be strong and shifting, and a thermocline sits between twenty-five and thirty metres, so conditions demand solid buoyancy skills and dive planning. The Chip Chip Wreck at the Northwest Pinnacles adds a deeper wreck option with its own current and narcosis considerations. All diving is by boat from Koh Tao.
