Mirissa sits on Sri Lanka's south coast, with sites spread across Indian Ocean reefs from shallow shore entries to deeper boat dives. Water stays warm year-round, peaking in April and dropping only slightly in mid-year. The seven sites in the area range from the shallow, beginner-friendly Polhena Reef to the deeper Moray Point ridge and Dispa Rock, giving divers a spread of options. Reef life includes green sea turtles, blacktip reef sharks, nudibranchs, Napoleon wrasse, and occasional whale sharks.
