The Soča Valley offers river diving along the Soča, a mountain river known for its vivid emerald-green colour. All six sites are river environments with canyon and drift dive profiles, accessed from the shore and suited to intermediate divers comfortable with moving water. The valley runs from Bovec through Kobarid to Nova Gorica, and the sites along this stretch include narrow canyons, sculpted rock walls, and sections of drift through turquoise current. Visibility is generally good, though currents can strengthen through confined sections and require careful planning.
