The NEOM and Duba area sits on the northern Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia, near the town of Duba. The three sites in our database include a wreck, an offshore reef system reaching sixty-one metres, and a shallow island reef. Both boat and shore entry are available. Water temperatures here are cooler than in the southern Red Sea, sitting in the low-to-mid twenties for much of the year and peaking around thirty degrees in late summer. Visibility at the offshore sites is consistently good. The species list includes whale sharks, silvertip sharks, and bottlenose wedgefish.

This stretch of the northern Red Sea stays relatively cool, with temperatures in the low-to-mid twenties from late autumn through spring and rising into the upper twenties and low thirties only in summer. A three-millimetre to five-millimetre wetsuit covers most of the year comfortably. Research indicates April through October as the generally preferred period, though diving is possible year-round.
