The Kemerovo region in western Siberia offers freshwater lake diving across five sites, ranging from the shallow and calm Ingol Lake to the deep drop-off of Lake Teletskoye, which descends well beyond recreational limits. Species present include pike, perch, trout, burbot, and carp. Conditions lean cold throughout the season, and thick thermal protection is essential at most sites even in summer. Visibility is generally moderate, typically between five and fifteen metres depending on the site. With only two operators in the area, divers should plan logistics carefully and be prepared for a degree of self-sufficiency.
