Powidz Lake is a wide, open freshwater lake in the Greater Poland region, noted for its water clarity relative to many Polish lakes. The site collection ranges from very shallow muck and reef dives to an artificial reef descending past forty metres, so the area works for beginners building skills in the shallows and for intermediate divers pushing deeper. All entries are from the shore, and the lake is easily reached by car from Poznań. Several dive bases operate on site, providing air fills, equipment rental, and guided dives. The warmest and clearest conditions fall between mid-June and late August.
