North Cape and Magerøya sit at the extreme northeast of Norway, with dive sites in the cold waters of the Barents Sea. The site range covers reef, drift, cave, and wreck diving, from very shallow entries to deeper boat-access dives. Tufjorden Cave offers a rare Arctic cave experience, while the North Cape site combines reef and wreck topography with consistently long sightlines. Water stays near freezing for much of the year and reaches its warmest in late summer, when conditions are also most favourable for access from local harbours. Expect king crab, Atlantic wolffish, harbour seal, and skate on most dives, with a drysuit required at all times.
