Goidhoo is a lightly visited part of Baa Atoll where five sites cover a range of pinnacles, canyons, cave systems, and drift reefs. The sites span a wide depth range and suit beginner and intermediate divers, with shore entry available at Vilamendhoo House Reef alongside boat-only access at the thilas. Blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, silvertip sharks, nurse sharks, Napoleon wrasse, and whale sharks are all recorded. Visibility at the thila sites typically spans fifteen to forty metres. The research notes that the lower visitor numbers compared to other Baa Atoll sites contributes to well-preserved coral.
