Remerschen is a group of freshwater lakes in southern Luxembourg, near the town of Schengen, formed by former gravel excavation. The three sites here, including the Baggersee Remerschen and the Lake of Remerschen, are all shore-entry and all rated for beginners. The water is very shallow, with depths topping out at five metres, making the area well suited to buoyancy practice and introductory dives rather than deeper exploration. Visibility is variable and can drop considerably after rain. Six local operators are based within reach of the area.
