Lac de la Haute-Sûre is an artificial reservoir in northern Luxembourg and the country's most significant dive destination. It holds three sites: the Ruins of Liefrange, the Lultzhausen shore-entry site, and the submerged Stone Bridge of Insenborn. All are freshwater, all are shore-entry, and all are rated for intermediate divers. Depths reach thirty metres, and a sharp thermocline sits close to the surface year-round, keeping deeper water cold regardless of the season. Visibility is variable, ranging from a couple of metres to fifteen metres, and is best from May to July before summer algae blooms take hold. Wels catfish, pike, perch, pike perch, roach, and American crayfish are among the species divers encounter.
