The North Coast sits in the Gulf of Aqaba, at the northern end of Jordan's short Red Sea coastline near the city of Aqaba. The four sites here are defined by artificial structures: the Underwater Military Museum holds a scuttled TriStar Lockheed L1011 aircraft, a second Tristar wreck, and the Hercules C-130, while Power Station offers a steep wall dropping from shallow water into deeper water. Visibility is consistently good, ranging from ten to thirty metres across the sites, and the water stays warm year-round. Shore and boat entry are both available, and the mix of depths and skill requirements means beginners and advanced divers can find suitable dives within the same area.
