The standout sea site is the Paguro, a sunken drilling rig that has become an encrusted artificial reef rising from moderate depth, colonised by sponges, oysters, and lobsters. Coastal artificial reefs such as the Piramidi sites offer shallower alternatives for beginners, while the depth range across the region extends to serious depths for more experienced divers. Adriatic visibility can vary and some sites suit experienced divers more than novices.
