Best for beginner divers, 10-17m, shore entry.
Eckartsberg is a freshwater dive site in Germany featuring an artificial reef and a wall that descends to a maximum depth of 17 metres. With an average depth of 14 metres and no current, the site is suitable for beginners. Divers enter from the shore to explore the structure, which offers visibility ranging from 5 to 15 metres. Due to the potential for cold water and variable visibility, a drysuit or thick wetsuit is recommended, and carrying a torch is advised to navigate the wall. On-site facilities include air fills, a dive shop, toilets, and first aid.
