Catherine Hill Bay on the New South Wales Mid North Coast is an ocean dive area where sites range from a shallow shore-entry reef to deep offshore boat dives on wrecks and rocky outcrops. The Titan Crane artificial reef and Cod Grounds are reserved for advanced divers given their depth, while Diamond Head suits beginners in calm conditions. Water temperatures are warmest in late summer and drop to their coolest in winter and early spring. Species recorded include grey nurse sharks, spotted wobbegongs, fiddler rays, common stingrays, mourning cuttlefish, and nudibranchs.
