The site experiences mild currents and requires caution due to boat traffic and the presence of shore anglers. Snorkelers are advised to remain close to the bank. Facilities available at the campground include parking, toilets, and showers.

The site is suitable for beginners, though snorkelers should remain aware of boat traffic and the risk of Harmful Algal Blooms, particularly during summer months. Facilities including parking, toilets, and showers are available on-site.
