Adrasan's underwater character is built around islands, caves and wrecks, with a site mix that ranges from shallow reef edges accessible to snorkellers through to deep cave systems requiring advanced certification. The Loggerhead Sea Turtle, Dusky Grouper, Common Octopus and Indian Lionfish define the signature encounters, while Turkish Wrasse, Bullseye and Rabbitfish are constant company across almost every site. Most diving is boat-accessed, and conditions vary from calm beginner reefs to current-exposed headlands.

Water stays comfortably warm from late spring through autumn, peaking in September and October when conditions are at their most settled. Spring and early summer offer reliable visibility and the best site variety for planning. Winter months are cooler but still diveable for those prepared for the drop.

Water temperature around Adrasan ranges from about 18°C in February to 25°C in September, based on satellite sea-temperature data for its dive sites.
In the warm season (about 25°C) a 3mm full suit is comfortable in Adrasan; in the coldest months (about 18°C) step up to a 5mm suit.

The most reliably sighted species include Turkish Wrasse, Bullseye, Rabbitfish, Two-banded Seabream and Cardinalfish across nearly all sites. Dusky Grouper, Common Octopus and Scorpionfish are common, and Loggerhead Sea Turtle and Indian Lionfish turn up on a good portion of dives. Mediterranean Moray and European Parrotfish have also been recorded here.
A good number of Adrasan's sites are rated for beginners, including Akinti Burunu, Pyramide Reef, Five Islands, Papaz and First Corner. These span reef and wreck environments at manageable depths. More challenging sites such as Deep Cave are reserved for advanced divers, so there is a clear progression available within the region.
The majority of sites are boat-access only, which is typical for the island and headland locations in the area. However, Fenre offers shore entry, and the Adrasan site itself accepts both shore and boat entry. Olympos Diving Center is the local operator able to arrange boat trips to the wider site network.
Adrasan hosts several cave and cavern sites clustered around the Three Islands area. Air Cave leads through a narrow tunnel to an internal air space, while Deep Cave is a true overhead environment at depth suited only to advanced divers. The variety, from accessible caverns to serious cave dives, means the area rewards returning visitors with growing experience.
