This Phuket-based region covers three Andaman Sea sites near the Racha Islands: Shark Point, Mai Thon, and Koh Doc Mai. The sites span pinnacles, walls, caves, reefs, and an artificial reef, with depths from very shallow down to just over thirty metres, making the area suitable for beginners through intermediate divers. Koh Doc Mai offers a vertical wall with cracks and overhangs, while Shark Point is a submerged pinnacle with variable currents and visibility that can fluctuate widely. All three sites are reached by boat from Phuket. Species recorded here include giant moray, pink skunk clownfish, peacock mantis shrimp, and occasional whale shark.
