Fish Rock is a reef site located off the north-west coast of Sri Lanka. Reached exclusively by boat, the site features a reef structure at depths ranging from 16 to 18 metres. Divers typically encounter mild currents, though conditions can vary and stronger surges may develop. Visibility at the site fluctuates between 10 and 30 metres. Water temperatures remain consistent throughout the year, ranging from 28 to 30 degrees Celsius. Due to boat traffic in the area, divers should always surface with a delayed surface marker buoy. Use caution near the reef to avoid contact with sharp coral and rocks, and consider wearing a full wetsuit for protection against jellyfish stings.

Bar Reef, located off the coast of Kalpitiya, features a combination of natural reef and artificial structures. The site spans depths from 1 to 30 metres, allowing divers to explore shallow areas or deeper sections. Visibility typically ranges between 10 and 25 metres, with water temperatures remaining between 27 and 30C. Currents are generally mild, making the site suitable for beginners. Divers should exercise caution regarding sharp coral and potential entanglement risks on structures. Access is by boat only, located 2000 metres from the shore. As there are no fixed shore facilities, visitors should bring necessary supplies for the surface interval.
