La Capilla is a shore-entry cave and cavern site located on the Costa Brava. The site features enclosed rock passages reaching a maximum depth of 12 metres. Divers encounter mild currents throughout the dive, though visibility is variable and can decrease, requiring careful monitoring of the overhead environment. Due to the enclosed nature of the passages, cave certification is required for entry. Water temperatures fluctuate seasonally, ranging from 13C in the winter months to 20C in August. Divers should carry both a primary and backup light to navigate the darker recesses of the cavern system.

Check visibility conditions locally before entering, as low visibility inside an overhead environment significantly increases the risk for any diver. Bring a primary torch and a backup light regardless of conditions outside the cave entrance.
