The SAS Transvaal is an artificial reef wreck located in the Roman Rock Area. Resting on a flat sand bottom, the vessel lies at an angle with its bow facing northeast. While the structure remains mostly intact, the mast has collapsed to the port side and the hull is deteriorating, making penetration hazardous. Divers encounter depths between 29 and 34 metres. The site is subject to strong currents and visibility typically ranges from 6 to 20 metres. Marine life recorded here includes the Long-nosed Fur Seal, Broadnose Sevengill Shark, Pyjama Shark, Puffadder Shyshark, Smooth Ray, Common Octopus, and various reef fish such as Hottentot, Bream, and Red Roman.

Partridge Point is a reef and pinnacle complex located in the Roman Rock Area. The site features distinct topography including Seal Rock, the highest point Big Rock, and the deeper eastern section known as Deep Partridge. To the north of Seal Rock lies a small outlier reef called Fish Tank. Divers navigate depths ranging from 5m to 26m, with an average depth of 18m. Access is by boat only, situated 4000m from shore. Conditions vary with visibility between 3m and 20m and mild currents. Hazards include boat traffic, cold water, low visibility, surge, and sharks. Water temperatures typically range from 15C to 18C, though upwelling can cause temperatures to drop to 7C.

Castle Rock in the Roman Rock Area is a reef and kelp forest site featuring pinnacles that rise from 14 metres to 5 metres. Divers can explore a variety of reef structures and swim-throughs within the kelp. The site has an average depth of 10 metres, with a total depth range of 4 to 18 metres. It is accessible by both shore and boat, and the rock structure provides shelter from north-westerly winds. Visibility typically ranges from 5 to 25 metres, with mild currents. Divers should be aware of boat traffic and surge. The site is suitable for beginners and supports night diving.

Outer Castle is a reef located 1900 metres offshore in the Roman Rock Area of False Bay. This boat-only dive site features depths ranging from 15 to 25 metres, with an average depth of 17 metres. Divers can expect mild currents, though surge and swell conditions vary. Visibility typically ranges between 5 and 10 metres. Marine life recorded at the site includes sea stars, klipfish, brittle stars, morwong, hottentot, and red roman. Rarer sightings include broadnose sevengill sharks, smooth rays, common octopus, long-nosed fur seals, pyjama sharks, flatworms, crayfish, and puffadder shysharks. Due to active boat traffic, the use of a surface marker buoy is essential for all ascents.

Pyramid Rocks is a reef site in the Roman Rock Area, named for a distinct pyramid-shaped rock that breaks the surface. Located 250 metres from the shore, this site offers depths between 5 and 14 metres with an average of 10 metres. Divers and snorkellers can expect mild currents and visibility ranging from 10 to 30 metres. Marine life recorded at the site includes common sea stars and klipfish, alongside uncommon sightings of pyjama sharks, bream, red roman, hottentot, brittle stars, and soft coral. Rare encounters include long-nosed fur seals, smooth rays, common octopus, broadnose sevengill sharks, sea slugs, and puffadder shysharks.

Millers Point in the Roman Rock Area offers a diverse marine environment featuring reefs, kelp forests, and artificial structures. Divers can explore depths ranging from 2 to 18 metres, with an average depth of 10 metres. The site is accessible via a shore entry, making it suitable for beginners. Conditions vary, with visibility between 2 and 15 metres and mild currents. Facilities at the site include parking, toilets, showers, a rinse station, and a cafe. The area is also suitable for night diving, with typical dives lasting around 50 minutes. Divers should be aware of potential hazards including boat traffic, cold water, entanglement, and surf.

Buffels Bay, located within Table Mountain National Park, features a shallow reef and kelp forest suitable for beginner divers. The site offers depths between 6 and 10 metres with visibility ranging from 5 to 10 metres. Divers can encounter various marine life, including sea stars, snails, klipfish, crabs, and common octopuses. Occasionally, northern elephant seals, long-nosed fur seals, puffadder shysharks, bluebottles, and mauve stingers are recorded. Entry is from the shore, requiring careful timing to navigate the surf. Due to cold water temperatures between 15 and 19 degrees Celsius, a 5mm to 7mm wetsuit or drysuit is recommended. Divers should remain aware of boat traffic and local surf conditions.
