Gizo sits in the Western Province of the Solomon Islands, where nutrient-rich currents from the New Georgia Sound and the Solomon Sea converge. Our database currently holds one site for the area, Yellow Corner, a boat-access drift, wall, and reef dive that drops from moderate to deeper recreational depths and reliably produces visibility of thirty metres. Currents funnel along the corner and the site includes caves and swim-throughs, making it better suited to intermediate divers. Water temperatures are consistently warm across all months. The area is reached by domestic flight from Honiara.
