The Murmansk Coast borders the Barents Sea in Russia's far north, and the two sites in our database reflect the challenging nature of diving here. Both are boat-access only and suit intermediate to advanced divers: Krestoviy is an artificial reef at moderate depth with an overhead environment, while Liinahamari offers wreck diving at forty metres in the Barents Sea. Water is cold throughout the year, staying below ten degrees Celsius even in the warmest months. Divers can expect king crab, lumpfish, blue shark, harbour seals, and feather stars.
