Sites range from shallow wrecks like Juliens wreck to complex multi-feature dives such as Cathedral Tower, which combines reef, wall, pinnacle and cavern topography. Nudibranchs dominate encounter lists across the region, alongside Ribbon Eel, Zebra Lionfish and Blackback Clownfish. Sipalay Town North holds the majority of sites, while Nabulao Bay offers a quieter cluster. Most sites are boat-accessed.

Intermediate and advanced sites such as Cathedral Tower and MS Jojo are also available for more experienced divers looking for deeper or more complex topography.
Sipalay Town North is the larger of the two sub-areas, holding the majority of the region's sites and offering the widest variety of topography, from wrecks and muck to reefs and pinnacles. Nabulao Bay is a smaller, more compact cluster of sites. Divers based in the region will find Sipalay Town North the more productive area for back-to-back diving.
The majority of sites in Sipalay are reached by boat, though a number of reefs also allow shore entry or a combination of both. Easy Diving and Beach Resort is the local operator serving the region. Having a single established operator means logistics are straightforward, and they will typically guide divers to sites suited to their experience level.
