Olango Island lies off Mactan Island near Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu, and its dive sites span an unusually wide range of disciplines. The site list includes reef and wall dives, a protected marine sanctuary at Talima, the overhead environment of Olango Cave, and the Tingo Wreck, which sits deep enough to require technical gas planning. At the shallower end, Tingo Point offers a wall and cavern suitable for intermediate divers. Water is warm year-round, peaking in the warmer months. Sea kraits are a notable species recorded here, and the variety of site types means the area works for beginners through to technical divers.
