Pom Pom and Siamil are islands in the Celebes Sea within the Semporna region, reached by boat from Semporna. The nine sites in our database cover a wide range of topography: shallow muck and artificial reef slopes, drift dives, walls, drop-offs, and pinnacles. Depths run from the shallows to the upper fifties of metres, though most sites are rated for beginners and intermediate divers. The Celebes Sea here is warm year-round. The macro life is the main draw, with wunderpus, mimic octopus, coconut octopus, flamboyant cuttlefish, and mandarinfish all recorded, alongside green and hawksbill turtles.
