Scoglio Spandillo is a reef and pinnacle site located south of Marettimo, Sicilia. The topography consists of large boulders set upon a sandy seabed with patches of posidonia. Divers navigate a square bathymetry ranging from 24 to 30 metres, with an average depth of 27 metres. The boulders feature encrusted madrepores and sponges, while the most exposed boulder is covered in red gorgonians. Due to the moderate to strong currents, this site is suitable for advanced divers only. Access is strictly by boat. Water temperatures fluctuate between 15C and 22C throughout the year.
