Blue Hole is Guam's most demanding dive site, a natural limestone shaft within Apra Harbor that descends from around eighteen metres down to beyond ninety metres. The vertical shaft opens through a window at thirty-eight metres, and the site encompasses wall, cavern, drop-off, and drift diving in a single dive. Advanced certification and deep diving experience are required. Grey reef sharks, giant moray, and peacock flounder are among the species recorded here. Access is by boat only. Water temperature holds warm throughout the year, sitting marginally cooler in the first half of the year and warming slightly from mid-year.
