Pyramid Lake is a desert lake in Nevada, owned and managed by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, and all access requires a tribal permit. Sites range from shallow tufa formations such as Popcorn Rock, where divers can inspect chemical precipitate structures in just a few metres of water, to deeper reef and artificial reef dives reaching over a hundred metres. Visibility varies widely by site, from very low at reservoir sites to fifteen metres or more at Sutcliffe Marina Beach in spring. The species list spans trout, catfish, carp, perch, and sunfish, with operators based in Reno and Sparks serving divers across beginner to advanced levels.
