Devils Lake is a freshwater lake in North Dakota with brackish character and a varied roster of sites ranging from shallow sheltered bays to a deep northeast shore dive reaching well below thirty metres. Shore entry is the norm, with public beaches at Grahams Island, Lakewood, and Black Tiger Bay offering accessible starting points. Visibility is variable and improves in summer, when the site selection from late spring through early autumn is at its widest. Divers encounter walleye, pike, perch, burbot, sturgeon, carp, and bluegill across reefs, walls, and seagrass habitat.
