Bikini Atoll is a remote coral atoll in the Central Pacific, sitting within the Republic of the Marshall Islands and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its role as a nuclear test site in the mid-twentieth century. The lagoon holds a fleet of military shipwrecks sunk during Operation Crossroads in nineteen forty-six, and the USS Saratoga CV-3 is the site currently in Fin's database. The carrier rests upright on a sandy bottom, with the wreck structure beginning at eighteen metres and the keel at fifty-five metres. Water temperatures are warm and consistent year-round, and visibility across the lagoon can reach up to sixty metres. Access is by liveaboard only, all diving is boat entry, and the depth and penetration opportunities make this an advanced destination.
