Kanaya Sunset Beach is a shallow muck diving site located on the Izu Peninsula. Reaching depths of up to 5 metres, the site features a muck substrate that is well-suited for beginners and snorkellers. The area is characterised by mild currents and calm water, though visibility can be variable depending on local conditions. Shore entry provides easy access to the site, which remains accessible throughout the year. Divers and snorkellers should arrive prepared, as facilities are not guaranteed at this location. The shallow, sheltered environment allows for patient observation of the sediment and low-lying structures found across the seabed.

Hasama Ocean Park features a combination of natural reef and artificial reef structures, offering a varied underwater environment. With depths ranging from 2 to 17 metres and mild currents, the site is well-suited for beginner divers. The site is accessible by boat, and a dive shop is located on-site to assist with equipment and guidance. Water temperatures fluctuate throughout the year, ranging from 17C in the cooler months to 26C in September. Divers should coordinate boat departure times with the local facility prior to arrival.

Nishikawana is a varied dive site on the Izu Peninsula featuring a combination of reef, drop-off, and cavern topography. Depths range from 8 to 25 metres, with an average of 16 metres. The site is defined by strong, shifting currents resulting from the collision of the warm Kuroshio Current and colder water masses. Visibility typically spans 10 to 20 metres. Due to the constant, strong currents and the need for drift diving proficiency, this site is strictly for advanced divers. Access is by boat only, and divers must maintain close proximity to the vessel during entry and exit. Typical dive duration is 50 minutes.
