Shelter Cove is a remote site on the Lost Coast featuring a breakwater-protected area, rocky points, and kelp forests. This shore-entry location is suitable for intermediate snorkellers, with depths ranging from 1 to 7 metres. Conditions are variable, with mild currents present, though visitors should be aware of potential rip currents, strong currents, and surf. The water is cool, typically ranging between 10C and 13C throughout the year, and a wetsuit is recommended for comfort. Parking facilities are available near the site.
