Miracle Waters is a former dolomite quarry near Brits in South Africa, converted into a freshwater dive site with shore entry and depths reaching thirty-two metres. Three sites make up the area, including the main quarry lake with submerged structures such as a bus, helicopter, and planes, alongside shallower training platforms. Visibility typically ranges between five and fifteen metres, and a thermocline at around eight metres marks a noticeable temperature drop. Water warms considerably in summer while winter temperatures require a full wetsuit. Fifteen operators use the site, drawn by its calm, wave-free conditions and the range of depths available for training from beginner level upwards.
