Zaovine's four sites all sit on or around Zaovinsko Jezero, a high-altitude freshwater reservoir on Tara Mountain, with all entries made from shore. Depths range from shallow reef dives to forty metres at Zaovinsko jezero and Klanica, where the altitude requires adjusted decompression planning. Jezero Spajici and Brana suit beginners, while the deeper sites demand advanced experience. Water temperatures remain cold throughout the year. Freshwater jellyfish, catfish, carp, and sun perch are among the species recorded here.
