Hazards include cold water, strong currents, and surge. The site is also suitable for snorkelling.

Punta Espinoza, located on Fernandina Island, is a reef site accessible only by boat. The topography supports a variety of marine life, including very common wrasses and sea stars, alongside common cardinalfish and grunts. Divers and snorkellers may also encounter uncommon species such as California sea lions, horn sharks, king angelfish, groupers, blue-barred parrotfish, scorpionfish, pufferfish, Sally Lightfoot crabs, Panamic cushion stars, and sea hares. The site is known for its marine iguana colony, with individuals occasionally observed feeding underwater. Depths range from 6 to 24 metres, averaging 18 metres. Conditions include moderate currents, surge, and visibility between 8 and 30 metres. Cold upwelling from the Cromwell Current can cause significant temperature drops.

Punta Vicente Roca is situated on the northwestern nose of Isabela Island, Ecuador. This site features steep volcanic walls and sea caves that provide a complex topography for snorkellers. Conditions at the site are variable, with visibility ranging from 6 to 30 metres and water temperatures fluctuating between 21C and 26C throughout the year. The site is suited for intermediate divers due to the presence of moderate currents, surge, and the potential for cold water and low visibility. As a marine reef environment, the site offers a typical underwater topography for the region.

Cape Douglas, located off the northwest coast of Fernandina Island, offers a challenging drift diving experience characterised by a wall that descends from 12 metres to depths of 100 metres. The site is accessible only by boat and is suited for advanced divers due to strong, shifting currents and potential surge. Visibility typically ranges between 10 and 30 metres. Water temperatures fluctuate between 17C and 23C, with thermoclines and cooler currents frequently present. Divers should be prepared for low visibility and exercise caution around sharp rocks and coral. A surface marker buoy and dive knife are recommended for all entries.

Cabo Douglas is a drift dive site located off the coast of Fernandina Island. The topography features a sea floor covered in corals, sponges, and gorgonians. Divers can expect a maximum depth of 22 metres. While the site is accessible to those with experience, conditions are characterised by strong currents, which can make the dive challenging. Visibility at this location can reach up to 30 metres. Water temperatures fluctuate between 20C and 26C throughout the year, depending on the month. Due to the current, this site is primarily suited for divers comfortable with drift diving techniques.

Cape Marshall is a wall and drift site located on the outer edge of Isabela Island. The topography ranges from 10 to 40 metres, with an average depth of 18 metres. Divers must be prepared for strong, shifting currents and variable visibility ranging from 3 to 21 metres. Thermoclines are prevalent around 14 metres, influenced by the cold Cromwell current. Due to the drift nature of the site and the presence of sharks, this location is strictly for advanced divers. Boat access is required, and the use of an SMB is essential. Water temperatures fluctuate between 19 and 24 degrees Celsius throughout the year.
