Punta Espinoza, located on Fernandina Island, is a reef site accessible only by boat. The topography supports a variety of marine life, including very common wrasses and sea stars, alongside common cardinalfish and grunts. Divers and snorkellers may also encounter uncommon species such as California sea lions, horn sharks, king angelfish, groupers, blue-barred parrotfish, scorpionfish, pufferfish, Sally Lightfoot crabs, Panamic cushion stars, and sea hares. The site is known for its marine iguana colony, with individuals occasionally observed feeding underwater. Depths range from 6 to 24 metres, averaging 18 metres. Conditions include moderate currents, surge, and visibility between 8 and 30 metres. Cold upwelling from the Cromwell Current can cause significant temperature drops.

Tagus Cove is a sheltered bay located on the western coast of Isabela Island, situated below Darwin Lake. This site offers a varied underwater topography featuring reefs and walls suitable for intermediate divers. Access is exclusively by boat. Divers should be prepared for moderate currents and surge, with depths typically ranging between 20 and 40 metres. Visibility fluctuates between 10 and 25 metres. Water temperatures generally range from 18 to 23C, though significant drops are common due to upwelling from the Cromwell Current and frequent thermoclines. Hazards include cold water, strong currents, and surge. The site is also suitable for snorkelling.

Urbina Bay is a unique site defined by a significant 1954 geological uplift that left coral reefs stranded on land. Located at Isabela and Fernandina Islands, this reef and drift site offers shallow diving with an average depth of 3 metres, ranging between 1 and 5 metres. Divers and snorkellers should be prepared for strong currents and surf conditions, with visibility typically between 3 and 10 metres. Water temperatures fluctuate between 21C and 27C due to the influence of the Cromwell Current upwelling. Access is available via both shore and boat entries, making it suitable for beginners looking to explore this geologically significant area.
