Zhejiang's only dive site is Shicheng, a submerged ancient city lying beneath Qiandao Lake, a man-made freshwater reservoir in Chun'an County. Divers can explore well-preserved stone structures from the Ming Dynasty, including carved lintels, beams, and columns, at depths between twenty-two and forty metres. Boat access is required, and the environment suits intermediate-level divers. Visibility in the lake is limited and varies with season, and the freshwater fauna includes species such as freshwater jellyfish, carp, and trout.
