Dawson and Klondike diving takes place in shallow subarctic rivers near Dawson City. The Sternwheeler Graveyard on the Yukon River holds the remains of several historic paddlewheelers in very shallow water, though strong currents and low visibility make conditions challenging. The Klondike River upstream confluence offers relatively clearer water over a rocky riverbed, with salmon observed during late summer migration. Bonanza Creek is used for gold snorkelling, where divers search bedrock crevices for gold flakes. All sites are shore access and remain cold throughout the year.
