Situated 2000 metres from the shore, the site is suited for advanced snorkellers due to the presence of moderate currents and very cold water temperatures, which range from 0C to 11C throughout the year. Divers and snorkellers should be prepared for cold water conditions and strong currents. Facilities available at the location include parking, toilets, showers, changing rooms, a rinse station, air fills, equipment rental, a cafe, first aid, a dive shop, boat charters, and guided tours.
