Koh Rong is a large island easily reached from Sihanoukville, making it one of the more accessible diving bases in Cambodian waters. The four sites in our database are reef and drift sites with a shallow depth range, topping out at fifteen metres, and are rated for beginners and intermediate divers. Entry is possible from both shore and boat at some sites. Water temperature is warm throughout the year. Species recorded include thorny seahorse, multiple nudibranch species, batfish, longfin grouper, and pink skunk clownfish. Visibility varies by season and site, from five to around twenty-five metres, with the best conditions typically in May and November.
